This is the final version of my previous submission... this is how it should have looked like ^_^
I'm alot happier with this one. I suck at backgrounds... but I dun think this one is TOO bad xD I still don't like hoe the bench turned out, I think I did it too grungy and it doesn't fit the clean colors of the character. Oh well... that bench took a while so xD
The background is a blurred photo of the woods at my grandad's house, and the bench is hours of making textures and shading and cutting and pasting and ahhh xD
If anyone wants to help name this new character, feel free to blurt out some suggestions ^^ I think someone else did on my last deviation, and I liked the name ^^ Does anyone else have other ideas?
And yes I know it looks quite a lot like Weylyn... but try not to be bothered by that
Thanks for looking! I never say this but.... full-view helps on this one ^^
I'm not gonna lie, seeing a drawing from you is totally awesome! Not only that, though, but it looks great.
I see what you were saying about the bench, but I think it actually works really well here, especially with the background (which by the way, doesn't suck one bit - trust me!) and you did a good job of incorporating it into the picture (like the highlights on his arm where light is filtering through the bench). Also, the pose and the expression are fantastic!
Oh, and orange and brown go together very nicely, by the way. (for some reason no one believes me when I tell them this) ^_^

I was born without a signature. Obviously, because I couldn't really write when I was born, now could I?
Well, I think it rocks. I like the background and the bench, it balances perfectly with the character (imho) and the almost-sepia tonality of the whole thing makes it really "belong". The foreshortening with the sneaker looks great - all in all, the best piece you've put up here I reckon. Thanks for sharing!
Also, in your previous deviation I think someone suggested "Devin", which is funny 'cause my first thought was "Davis"...

You definitely got style there
Anatomy seems fine
But what makes this one nice it is because of the colour blending.
I must say that I’m very impressed with your combination. The character seems to blend with the background but he is never mixed in it but the background seems to compliment your character^^
Names…hmm…How about James, Raoul, Ken, Steve…, Irshad or Khairun? Not sure if this is to your liking
Have fun naming him^^
